The Musician
Inside Voice
For years, I've written music to get me through dark times or celebrate happy ones, and I've always kept it to myself. Recently, I decided it was selfish to write music that pulled me through so much and not share it with others who might be struggling in the same or similar ways. So over the course of the next few years, I'll be uploading some of my originals. I hope they can help people through any hard times in the same way that they've helped me.

Misborn
Misborn was my first band and consisted of me, my brother (Gualter Amarelo), and my best friend (Mike Teixeira). We started writing music together in 2006 with our friend Andrew Nasser and stayed together when Andrew left the band in 2008.
Eventually, Misborn fizzled out as we hit our 20's and took on the adult responsibilities of new jobs, marriages, long-distance moves, and entrepreneurship. Still, the years that we played together were some of the most fun of our lives, and I'd encourage every person who plays an instrument to experiment with other musicians and see what your collective creativity produces. You'll always cherish the art, bonds, and memories you form during these times.
